Nan Yang chicken farm built in 2019.The capacity of first chicken house is 100,000 layers. The second chicken house was completed in May 2020. This is a closed house with steel structure, the dimension of house is 100*18*8m, the cage system is 6 rows and 8 tiers, 2 floors, there are 120,000 layers in the house. This is one of the largest local farms.
THE MAIN CONSTRUCTION OF THE CAGE SYSTEM
The H frame layer cage system construction and the sections of cages are produced of galvanized sheet and Galfan wires bearing ISO 9001 quality certificate and the surface coatings of the sheets and wires used have high standards. And with the H frame being made with Galfan your cages will last longer, and work more efficiently.
The main cage construction is designed in 500 X 625 mm, raising 7 birds in each cell, the space for each birds is 446 square centimeter. All meshes are made of Galfan wires. Thanks to the suitably inclined bottom wires (7°) and moderate elasticity, the eggs easily reach the egg tray and the rate of breaks and dirt that may occur on the eggs are reduced to minimum levels.
The cage system is designed to be strong against earth movements. Main construction of the cage system consists of the legs, which are located in every 84 cm lengthwise, and the wide based connection units with adjustable bolts.
There are no welding points on the cage, which effectively avoids equipment damage due to rust and extends service life. The wire diameter of all cage meshes is greater than 2mm, thickness of all galvanized sheet from 0.8 to 2 mm. There are 9 steel wires under the bottom cage mesh in each tier, in order to support the bottom cage mesh, to prevent the bottom cage mesh deforming, which can extend the service life of cage.
The cages are attached to the feed trough at the leg stands for increased stability, and with an innovative foot design and screwed-together leg stands maximizing strength and durability. Cages are attached to the support frames at the leg stands for increased stability, and the height of the cage can be adjusted by the support frame to achieve a horizontal state.
There are 2 nipple drinkers (from Holland) for each two cage sections on the PVC pipes which are located between two cage sections lengthwise the cage row. When the birds touch the metal parts on the edge of the red-colored nipple, automatic water flow is enabled. The “V” shape leakage gutter underneath the water pipes, holds the water drops and prevent the drops to reach the manure belt, therefore a drier manure is obtained.
There is an alarm device on the water line of each tier. When the water pressure is too low, the device will open automatically. A water regulator is located on each tier and each row of the cage, It supply the water from the water line to the pipes, through reservoirs with the proper pressure. The filters and the medicator (DOSATRON of France) to clean the water and keep health of all chickens.
THE AUTOMATIC FEEDING SYSTEM
The automatic feed carts with independent operation motor, one motor control one row. In feeding system with feed carts, thanks to feed adjuster which is designed specially, feed is hygienically and equally. The V-shaped trough designed according to biological principles, it can effectively reduce wasted feed. Each layer has a feed recovery device, excess feed can be recovered again.
The feed silo is made of galvanized sheet with a maximum capacity of 22 tons. Such a large farm requires two large feed silos.
Each feed silo can be equipped with an automatic lifting system, which can input the feed directly into the feed silo, and then the feed enters the chicken house via feeding auger system. Both the upper and lower floor feeding systems can be controlled separately.
AUTOMATIC EGG COLLECTION SYSTEM
The automatic egg collection system can transport eggs directly from the chicken house to the egg store, saving labor costs. The upper and lower floor collection systems can be operated independently and collect 20,000 eggs per hour. The egg conveyor can reach a length of one kilometer, a 90-degree turn, and a 45-degree slope.
The egg belt is from Italy, it is anti-static and not hold dust, and there is one egg brush in each end of the cage rows, therefore, eggs are clean and they are suitable for food safety. The egg screening device equipped on each tier, it can automatically screen out soft shell eggs without manual screening.
MANURE REMOVAL SYSTEM
Manure is cleaned and discharged by the Polypropylene (PP) manure belts of 1.10 mm thickness. This material is strong and durable and it can be operated without problem even in very long chicken houses. This manure removal system can clean up 98% of chicken manure and reduce the environmental pollution of the chicken house, and due to the special design, the manure belt is not easy to skew. A cover has been placed at end of the manure belts, it is for avoid splashing and not to make dirty chicken house.
The manure will be transported out of chicken house via horizontal and vertical manure conveyor. The motor for the manure conveyor is covered by the galvanized steel sheets in case of the strong sunshine, rain, water, etc. and the power can be changed as different conveyor length.
CHICKEN HOUSE CLIMATE CONTROL SYSTEM
This farm is located in the temperate zone of China, with temperatures ranging from -5 to 39℃. In high-density farming, ventilation is very important. The control box of the climate control system comes from France, the system divides the chicken house into main ventilation area, auxiliary ventilation area and negative pressure area, eight control boxes are used to control the temperature and humidity. This chicken house is equipped with 30 box fans, which can remove harmful gas in the chicken house in time.
Fully automatic climate control system, which can monitor the temperature and humidity of the chicken house 24 hours, automatically open the fan, air inlet and cooling pad to ensure the environment is the best for chickens.
The air entering the chicken house is not directly blown to the chicken, but will fall from the upper to the layer and be discharged spirally from the chicken house. The oxygen content in the chicken house is always greater than 19%, which can ensure the normal growth of the chicken.
